Why SDI/TDI?
I choose to teach SDITDI classes as I believe in the materials, standards and the flexibility that these allow for me to really personalize your class. Certifications meet all RSTC standards and are recognized worldwide.
SDI/TDI are known for being forward thinking. They were the first agency to offer eLearning, and also the first agency requiring students to dive with a dive computer! This reflects the techworX ethos of looking forward and evolving as a diver.
TDI is also the largest technical diving agency in the world, and as such offers many choices for a diver to progress. As you gain knowledge and experience the flexibility in choice of depth, breathing gas, configurations and dive planning really shines through the TDI system.
SO WHY TAKE A CLASS WITH ME?
- Experience – I have well over 5000 dives, including 1000+ decompression dives, and am diving and teaching full-time both rec and tech diving, as well as guiding CCR dives to 100m+. As well as the obvious benefits of this, I have also encountered and successfully dealt with all manner of situations above and below the surface, ensuring maximum safety standards at all times.
- Flexibility – As an independent instructor I can offer great flexibility not only on class availability and scheduling, but also on a range of great locations based on your preferences.
- Qualifications – I can take you where you want to go. Entry level tech classes to 45m all the way up to trimix instructor. Sidemount? No problem. I am familiar with all configurations and can offer additional tips to tune your rig to perfection.
- Small classes – classes will almost always be 1 or 2 students, and a maximum of 3. Personal attention and the opportunity to focus on mastery of skills and procedures with no need to rush.
- Tailored expeditions – I can arrange expedition diving in one or multiple locations to showcase the great diving on offer in the Philippines, arranging diving, transport and accommodation to match your budget. Thresher sharks, WW2 wrecks, deep walls, maybe even a hammerhead or 2!
